Sleigh the Science: Sparkling Holiday Cocktails
Saturday December 12 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm
Unwrap the science of the season with a delicious drink in hand! Join “The Intoxicating Professor” Heather McKechney, certified sommelier and chemistry professor, for a fascinating look at the science behind our favorite winter traditions, all while sipping three custom holiday cocktails powered by New York sparkling wine.
We’ll break down the aromatic compounds behind fresh pine and gingerbread, examine the physics of snowflakes, and finally settle the age-old debate: does turkey really make you sleepy? You’ll enjoy all three sparkling creations and leave with the recipes to use at your own holiday parties.
Take the time out of the busy holiday season to bring yourself a little cheer and a little treat with this delightful class – and enjoy a nosh box with your cocktails by resident Chef Pam Cecere. Everyone needs a little holiday cheer, and you certainly deserve it.
