Aperitivo Happy Hour With Forge Cellars: Presented by Thera Clark & Chef Pam Cecere 6/26

Friday June 26 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Aperitivo at New York Kitchen featuring Forge Cellars

Aperitivo is a beloved Italian tradition: an early evening ritual meant to “open” both the appetite and the spirit. Think of it as the original happy hour: a time to unwind, connect, and ease into the night with great wine, great company, and just enough to eat to keep things interesting.

This season, we’re elevating the ritual.

Join us anytime between 4–6 PM in our Lakeview Loft for a lively, laid-back tasting experience that’s perfect before one of our evening classes, or as a destination all on its own. Whether you’re kicking off your night out or simply looking for a reason to linger a little longer, this is the happy hour worth showing up early for.

You’ll be welcomed with a pour of one of Forge Cellars’ signature Rieslings, then guided through two more exceptional wines from their cellar by a duo you won’t want to miss: Thera Clark, New York Kitchen Beverage Educator and FLX-obsessed sommelier, alongside Janelle McPhail, Assistant Winemaker at Forge Cellars herself. Between the two of them, you’ll get the full story, from vine to glass, with plenty of great conversation along the way.

To complement your wines, Chef Pamela Cecere of Saveur Fine Food Production will be serving a progression of Italian-inspired small bites, thoughtfully curated to pair beautifully with each pour and keep the Aperitivo spirit alive. (This is happy hour done right, not dinner…but you might not miss it.)

Afterward, keep the evening going with a full glass or a signature cocktail at the bar.

Your ticket includes:

  • Three pours, thoughtfully chosen, plus small bites, expert commentary, and the option to grab a full glass at the bar afterward

Additional wines will be available for purchase by the glass or bottle, as well as beers and NA options!

Aperitivo is your invitation to slow down, sip, and connect, just as the Romans do.
