Beyond the Noble Grapes – If You Like This…Then Try This! 6/6/26

Saturday June 6 @ 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm

You know Chardonnay, Cabernet, and Pinot Noir like the back of your hand…err, palate. Now, if you’re ready to expand your wine-worldview and treat your tastebuds to something new and go off the beaten path, this class will be right up your alley! Beyond the Noble Grapes begins where most wine classes would, with the benchmark varieties that have defined the modern wine world. Built on an “if you like this, try this!” framework, this class will help you find new wines you’re sure to love.  For every Sauvignon Blanc, there’s a Schuerebe or Verdicchio waiting to surprise you! You’ll leave with a sharper sense of what you like and why, and a whole new world of wines to explore.

Join Sarah Tuttle, General Manager at Apollo’s Praise on Seneca Lake. After more than 15 years in education administration and nonprofit leadership, Sarah turned her longtime side hustle in wine into a full-time pursuit. What began with private tastings, corporate events, and part-time work at a beloved Brooklyn bottle shop evolved into formal study through the WSET Diploma program. She made the leap into wine full-time in 2023, and went back to school to earn her Master’s in Wine & Beverage Management from the Culinary Institute of America. In 2024, she proudly earned her WSET Diploma with Merit. After a year supporting the Finger Lakes Wine Alliance, she joined the Apollo’s Praise team as General Manager in 2025.

Your journey won’t be complete without a nosh plate from the incredible Chef Pam!
