East v. West: Sonoma v FLX Wine Showdown

Friday April 3 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

The showdown is back! Join beverage educators Thera Clark and Anthony Velasquez for the final installment of their beloved blind tasting series: East v. West. For this special finale, we’re going home.

Home to Thera’s stomping grounds of the Finger Lakes and Anthony’s beloved West Coast. As always, the duo will guide you through each pour with the storytelling, expertise, and friendly competition that have made this series a fan favorite. You’ll taste each wine blind, side-by-side comparisons curated by Thera and Anthony. Vote for your favorites, and discover just how much geography, climate, and winemaking philosophy shape what’s in your glass. With world-class terroir on both sides, this is one rivalry with no easy winner.

As you taste each wine, you’ll enjoy a delicious pairing plate from NYK Resident Chef (and New York native!) Pamela Cecere with expertly paired bites.

Whether you’re a seasoned wine lover or just curious about what makes a great bottle, this finale is the perfect way to celebrate two incredible wine regions — and crown a champion once and for all. Come ready for friendly rivalry, outstanding wines, and a memorable celebration of the places we call home. May the best region (and educator!) win.
