Everyday Bubbles: Exploring Sparkling Wine for All Occasions 6/14/26
Sunday June 14 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm
Sparkling wine has been a beacon of celebration since Barbe Nicole Clicquot Ponsardin was widowed at the age of 27 and took the helm of the family business. Through her ingenuity, she created what is thought to be the first vintage champagne, the first riddling table, and the first known blended rosé sparkling wine. Over the years, more sparkling options came to the market in varying price points, but the product is often still saved for celebrations.
But why wait for a special occasion to drink this incredibly appealing wine? Join NYK Beverage Education Manager Jen Menges and her partner in bubbly crime, Kyle Pallischeck, Wine Educator and Director of Programs for the New York Wine & Grape Foundation for another bubbly experience centered around sparkling wine. Wondering what to pour for mimosas that won’t break the bank? Curious what you should sip while making cookies with your bestie? How about the perfect sparkling to take as a hostess gift? Not to mention what you can enjoy every Champagne Thursday! This time, we’ll explore sparkling wines for all occasions – because life is too sort, and too beautiful to wait.
You’ll enjoy a truly delightful flight of sparkling wines along with Chef Pam Cecere’s nosh plate while Kyle and Jen share their love of all things bubbly.
