The Art of Pairing: A Live Culinary and Wine Pairing Experience with Rochester Supper Club: France

Thursday May 8, 2025 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Join us for the second pop-up dinner in a series of immersive culinary experiences where food, wine, and culinary skill converge in an interactive setting. This time, we head to France.

The Art of Pairing: A Live Culinary and Wine Pairing Experience by Rochester Supper Club brings together the artistry and skill of Chef Michael Durfee and the wine expertise of sommelier Shomari Smoak, guiding you through a meticulously curated multi-course dining journey. Watch as the chef prepares each dish live, with multi-camera views offering an up-close view of masterful techniques and providing you with in-person insight and exclusive access to multitasking, plating, and insider secrets of the kitchen.

As each course is crafted before your eyes, our sommelier will take you through a world of wine pairings—exploring why each selection complements the dish, discussing regional influences, and unlocking the nuances of balance, texture, and flavor harmony. Whether you’re a food and wine enthusiast, a hospitality professional, or simply someone who appreciates an interactive and fun dining experience, this class offers an unparalleled opportunity to witness the synergy between gastronomy and viniculture in its purest form.

Expect an evening of indulgence, education, and inspiration as you learn, sip, and savor in a setting where every bite and every sip tells a story.
