Whiskey, Whisky, Bourbon, Scotch and Rye
Sunday November 29 @ 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm
Whether it’s spelled with an “e” or not, whiskey is a world unto itself: rich in history, layered in flavor, and steeped in science. Join “The Intoxicating Professor,” Heather McKechney, for a spirited afternoon that unpacks the chemistry, culture, and global traditions behind the iconic styles of whiskey (or is it whisky?!), bourbon, scotch, and rye.
You’ll sip through a curated flight of distinctive pours, each with its own story and signature. Then, to cap off our time together, you’ll choose your favorite from the flight to craft your own Gold Rush cocktail, a modern classic that blends whiskey, lemon, and honey into liquid gold, sure to delight your tastebuds!
Come curious, sip boldly, and leave with a deeper appreciation for what’s in your glass and take home the perfect recipe to impress at your next dinner party.
