New York Kitchen is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to celebrating the agriculture, food, and craft beverages of New York State through shared experiences that connect and inspire. We are a premier destination for corporate and nonprofit gatherings in our beautiful Canandaigua lakefront setting.

We welcome private team-building cooking classes, wine and craft beverage experiences, group tastings and happy hours, and meetings or retreats designed to connect, educate, and inspire.

INTERACTIVE EXPERIENCE:
EDUCATIONAL THEATRE

In a comfortable amphitheater setting, enhanced by state-of-the-art audio and visual technology, you can watch chefs create dazzling dishes using superb New York State agricultural products. Better yet, you get to sample these delectable creations. Known as New York Kitchen Beverage University, the Educational Theater also hosts wine, craft beer, cider, and spirits tastings, in addition to beverage appreciation classes and other culinary demonstrations. No need to be an expert to participate! We offer a variety of courses that cater to any experience level. The perfect space for a memorable, interactive experience for your guests.

IMMERSIVE ENTERTAINING: 
Hands-On Kitchen

No matter your age or your skill level, roll up your sleeves in our Hands-On Kitchen to prepare familiar favorites and exciting new dishes. Led by our staff of engaging professional chefs, the Hands-On Kitchen offers private classes year-round, providing opportunities for unique team-building experiences, fun gatherings for family and friends, continuing education, and more.

The Sands Gallery at New York Kitchen offers a bright, modern, and flexible event space ideal for corporate meetings, nonprofit receptions, workshops, and networking events.

Whether you’re planning a team meeting, retreat, product launch, training session, or donor reception, the Sands Gallery provides a professional yet inviting setting for your group. The space can be arranged in multiple layouts — from seated presentations to mingling-style receptions — and can be paired with private cooking classes or beverage experiences for a complete event package.

Lakeview Loft & Balcony

This warm, inviting event space offers a refined atmosphere with sweeping water views. Rich hardwood floors, exposed beams, and handcrafted tables create a timeless, intimate setting, while large windows fill the room with natural light and showcase the scenic shoreline beyond. Soft ambient lighting and elegant finishes make it an ideal backdrop for happy hours, corporate gatherings, and private celebrations.
