Celebrating the Region of the Year, in your glass. Join us Sunday, September 20, for an experience that is equal parts education, inspiration, and pure joy!

WSET Level 3 Award in Wines is a certification course exploring wines that is suitable for industry professionals and wine enthusiasts. Through this instructor-led 13-week course (Tuesdays from 6 – 8:30pm, August 4 – November 3), you’ll learn about wine from the ground to the glass.

Your instructor will be Brandon Thomas, DipWSET, of Cultivate FLX.

You’ll gain knowledge of the principal and regionally significant grape varieties of the world, the regions in which they are grown, and the styles of wine they produce. Through a combination of tasting and theory, you’ll explore the factors that impact style and quality and learn how to confidently describe these wines.

While there is no prerequisite to take this course, WSET Level 2 in Wines or the equivalent is strongly recommended. Following the course, your 2.5-hour exam is comprised of two units:

UNIT 1: Theory exam featuring 50 multiple-choice questions and a question paper requiring short written answers. Unit 1 must be completed within two hours.
UNIT 2: Tasting exam consisting of two blind wines to assess a candidate’s ability to accurately describe a wine and draw conclusions based on the observations learned during the course. Unit 2 must be completed within 30 minutes.

Your ticket price includes:

Study materials
13 weeks of instructor-led classes
Weekly wine tasting
An exam featuring multiple-choice questions, short-answer theory questions, and a tasting
A digital certificate and pin upon successful completion of the course and exam
